Radio Controlled Initiation

BREACH - Specifically designed for the Explosive Method of Entry (EMOE) role, BREACH is a small, low cost, waterproof and robust addition to the BDL Systems range of Radio Frequency Initiation Equipment. Capable of the initiation of any number of receivers over ranges up to 200m, BREACH provides explosive assault teams with a safe and reliable answer to the breaching requirement.

SWORD - SWORD is a small, lightweight solution to the IEDD/ SF RF Initiation requirement. Designed with the highest levels of safety and security in mind, the system effectively removes the threat from ‘man in the middle’ RF eavesdropping. The system possesses sufficient RF capability to efficiently function in the most difficult of RF environments, removing the requirement for the deployment of hundred of metres of firing cable to initiate explosive charges or EOD weapons. SWORD is waterproof and capable of initiating multiple detonators for multi event procedures. Available to order now.’ Radio Frequency (RF) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Initiation System - SWORD

Mini R.A.B.S. - The Mini R.A.B.S. (Remote Answer Back System) is a secure, safe radio controlled initiation system, developed for deployement in areas where a small, lightweight receiver is necessary for the remote initiation of pyrotechnics and other electrically initiated devices. The system is user programmable in minutes allowing automatic firing sequences to be initiated. The system consists of one Control Unit and up to 81 individually identifiable Remote Firing Units (RFU's). There are nine addresses with up to nine RFU's on each address.
Marine R.A.B.S. - A flotation chamber is available for housing the Mini R.A.B.S. receiver - this enables underwater demolitions to be carried out.

RS-68 System - The RS68 System is in active service throughout the world and has been proven to be a safe, reliable and extremely simple Remote Initiation System. The system comprises of a transmitter, a single output receiver and a 10-output receiver (which can be configured in any combination to suit the user requirements). Up to 192 individual firing circuits can be controlled from a single transmitter. Numerous receivers can be set to the same code for simultaneous initiations to occur.

The transmitter operates in the VHF band and provides 0.5 - 10 watts (depending on version) of radio frequency from an internal rechargeable power supply. The receivers exhibit excellent sensitivity levels to permit operating at typical ranges of up to 5 Km. The extremely low current consumption ensures unattended operation of many days and the high energy output circuit allows the use of demolition firing cable lengths of up to 100 metres.
