The BDL Colour Under Vehicle Surveillance System has been designed to provide security personnel with a fast and effective method of viewing the underside of vehicles, by providing the operator with a clear image within seconds of the vehicle passing over the scanner.
The system also includes a scene camera, which can be used for viewing and displaying the vehicle license plate alongside the underside image. An automatic license plate reader (ANPR) can also be incorporated.
The image is displayed on a touch-screen monitor and can be manipulated and zoomed into for closer examination of the vehicle.
CUVSS Static The static scanning camera unit is mounted below the road surface and requires minimal civil works to install.
CUVSS Mobile The mobile system sees the camera mounted within a rugged enclosure for use above ground. The unit is placed centrally within a sectional rubber ramp.
CUVSS mobile is ideal for use at high-profile exhibitions, conferences, meetings, etc.
